Mark + Kayla

This Toronto City Hall elopement was equal parts charming and chic. The couple and a dozen of their family members hopped in a limo at their residence to be whisked off into the heart of downtown. No amount of traffic or spilled champagne could put a damper on Mark and Kayla’s excitement, and the entire party was buzzing with energy as we pulled up in front of our destination on Queen Street. The ceremony was beautifully orchestrated, and tears fell just as the rain began to fall outside. After Mark and Kayla were pronounced husband and wife, we all braved the weather to take some photos on the roof. The monochrome cityscape was the perfect backdrop for the occasion — a stark, stunning contrast to the happy couple and their loved ones. After documenting the first portion of the day, we piled back into the limo to head to The Old Mill Inn. The group took some time to relax in the bride and groom’s hotel suite before getting to work on setting up the restaurant for their reception. Kayla and Mark’s friends flooded in, and the place was bustling with love and congratulations by the time the au d’oeuvres were served. It was the perfect lively evening to mark the end of their intimate day.
