Dairid + Anne

Dairid and Anne’s quaint little church wedding is one I’ll always remember so fondly. Such a beautiful summer day filled with wholesome people and so much laughter. The day began at an Airbnb where Anne got ready surrounded by her closest girls. The bridal portraits from this morning will go down in history as some of my favourites — the lighting was stunning, but not quite as breathtaking as Anne herself, with her subtle makeup and simple yet elegant dress. Dairid and his groomsmen got ready at the church, and the energy among them was boisterous and excited. As guests filed in, the chapel quickly became filled with so much warmth and love. Both Dairid and Anne shed tears during their beautifully-delivered ceremony, interspersed with readings by their Dads (both pastors) and modern gospel music. Following the ceremony, the bride and groom and their immediate family and wedding party drove to a local farm owned by friends of theirs to capture some stunning group shots and couples photos. The sun graced us with its presence as the happy couple kissed and danced in a field, accompanied, of course, by Dairid’s beloved cowboy hat. Then back to the church we went for a low-key barbeque and some heartfelt speeches to end the day. The entire event was wrapped in smiles from start to finish!
